Gang Investigator of the Year Award (LEO)
The FGIA Awards Program presents the non-monetary Gang Investigator of the Year Award in recognition of outstanding individual accomplishments during the award period. The criteria considered include, but are not limited to, the following:
The nomination narrative should be no longer than three pages, single-spaced, and should describe the specific accomplishments of the nominee.
Gang Investigator of the Year Award (Corrections)

Gang Unit of the Year Award (LEO)
The FGIA Awards Program presents the non-monetary Gang Unit of the Year Award for law enforcement agencies in recognition of outstanding unit accomplishments during the award period. The criteria considered include, but are not limited to, the following:

Gang Unit of the Year Award (Corrections)
The FGIA Awards Program presents the non-monetary Gang Unit of the Year Award for corrections agencies in recognition of outstanding unit accomplishments during the award period. The criteria considered include, but are not limited to, the following:

Gang Analyst of the Year Award
The FGIA Awards Program presents the non-monetary Gang Analyst of the Year Award in recognition of outstanding analytical accomplishments during the award period. The nominated Gang Analyst should be distinguished through the ability to utilize those skills that demonstrate outstanding strategic analysis (identify organized schemes or potential fraud exposure) and/or tactical analysis (enhance on-going investigations) that significantly contribute to investigative results. Some examples of Strategic and Tactical analytical work include but aren't limited to the following activities:
Strategic Analysis:
The detection of organized crime that led to a successful major investigation which, if not for the use of strategic analysis, would not have been discovered by the analyst's unit (ability to pattern trends from external and internal data sources).
Tactical Analysis:
Additional consideration should be made to the analyst's contribution to training and awareness within their unit and the analyst community to improve the investigators knowledge of the applications of analysis in gang activity that allows them to effectively develop analysts/investigative partnerships to fight gang crime.

Juvenile Justice “Gang Coordinator” of the Year Award
The FGIA Awards Program presents the non-monetary Juvenile Justice “Gang Coordinator” of the Year Award in recognition of outstanding individual accomplishments during the award period. The criteria considered include, but are not limited to, the following:
